Join us for a fun-filled morning of play and connection on February 3 from 9 AM to 11 AM at Ocean's Adventures in Joplin! This event is designed especially for our City Kids Jr. Moms with children ages 5 and under. It’s the perfect opportunity to have fun with your kids, connect with other moms, and experience Jesus along the way.
Know a mom who doesn’t have a home church? Bring her along! We’d love for this event to be a space where moms feel welcomed, make new friends, and become part of our amazing mom community here at Hope City.
We can’t wait to see you there! Click here to sign up!
Friday Night Lights
Join us for Friday Night Lights on Friday, February 6 from 6–8 PM at Hope City for students in 5th–8th grade.
This is a high-energy night designed just for middle school students. Dinner will be provided, along with fun games, chances to win prizes, and an environment your student won’t want to miss.
Friday Night Lights is a great opportunity for students to get connected as the semester continues—spending time with friends, meeting new students, and building relationships with their Life Group leaders.
We encourage students to invite friends, neighbors, and family members. This is one of our invite nights—created to be full of fun while giving students a chance to bring friends to church and encounter Jesus in a meaningful way.
We can’t wait to hang out with your 5th–8th graders on Friday, February 6 from 6–8 PM at Hope City!
Live Free Weekend
February 14 | 4PM & 6PM • February 15 | 9AM & 11AM
This weekend will take things to the next level with a powerful, live demonstration of surrender and trust—a story told through the art of horse training. Riding High Ministries’ professional trainer, Todd Pierce, will work with a wild horse in real time, right in our venue, revealing a picture of how Jesus patiently pursues us, brings healing, and invites us into a life-giving relationship with the Father.
Because we’ll be setting up a live horse pen inside the venue, seating will be limited. To help us plan well and create the best possible experience, we’re asking everyone to let us know which gathering you plan to attend. There’s no cost to attend—this simply helps us prepare, manage capacity, and make room for everyone who wants to be part of Live Free Weekend.
We encourage you to drop your kids off with City Kids as we will have full programming for birth through 4th graders in City Kids, City Kids Jr. and the Nursery. These environments will be created specifically for kids and will include a live viewing of the Live Free event along with a petting zoo. Your kids will have an incredible experience they'll never forget!
For safety reasons, children 12 and under will not be permitted in the first three rows.

4th Gathering Kick-Off
We’re excited to share that Hope City is adding a fourth gathering, beginning Sunday, February 22 at 5:00 PM.
This evening gathering creates space for more people and offers a great option for high school families, college students, and those with busy or nontraditional schedules. We can’t wait to see how God uses this to reach more people.
Starting Point
Starting Point is designed for anyone interested in taking their next step at Hope City. This gathering is a great opportunity to enjoy a free meal, meet some of our staff, hear the vision of our church, and discover how you can get connected.
We believe Hope City is a place where you can find community and discover what God has for your life.
Our next Starting Point is Sunday, March 1 at 12:30pm. Childcare is provided if needed.
Parent Baby Dedication
At Hope City, we believe parents are the primary disciple-makers in their children’s lives. Child Dedication is an opportunity for you to commit, before your Hope City family, to raising your child to love and serve the Lord.
If you’re a parent of a child 18 months old or younger, we’d love to invite you to participate in this meaningful moment during our 8:00am, 9:30am, or 11:15am gatherings.
If your child has already been dedicated, we encourage you to share your experience with others, helping families consider taking this important step.
