Hope City Young Adults exists to help 18-25 year olds engage in the mission and vision of the church. We gather each week to help young adults experience Jesus through community because we believe Jesus offers us a better way to do life. We connect and grow through groups, serving opportunities, and social events throughout each semester.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS AT HOPE CITY

Young adults gather together each Wednesday night at 6PM at Hope City Church to connect, grow, and discover what it means to follow Jesus in this season of life. Together, they’re learning to live with purpose and reflect His hope wherever they go.

Interested in joining a Young Adults Life Group?

Below you’ll find Young Adults Life Groups for both men and women that will journey though a 10-week Anchor Series in the Gospel of John. Registration will include a Faith Life Study Book which is free for Young Adults! The book features five short, engaging studies each week designed to help move God’s Word from the page into everyday life. Through reading, reflection, discussion, and application, you’ll discover what it means to follow Jesus more closely and live out your faith with confidence.

Each Life Group meets weekly for approximately 90 minutes in a welcoming environment led by trained volunteer leaders. While every group is unique, you can expect meaningful conversation, discussion around the weekly study, time in Scripture, prayer, encouragement, and authentic community. Many groups also enjoy snacks or a meal together as they build relationships and grow alongside one another.

The goal of Life Groups is simple: to help people experience Jesus, be changed through His Word, and impact others with His hope. Whether you’re new to church or have been following Jesus for years, there’s a place for you.

Participants are encouraged to attend the Life Group Kickoff on September 6 to meet their group, pick up their study book, and begin building relationships before groups officially launch the week of September 13.

MSSU Football Tailgate

Saturday, September 5 | 4:00-6:00pm
Join us for a tailgate at MSSU as the Lions take on Upper Iowa University in their Home Opener! Kickoff is set for 6:00 PM, and we’re gathering beforehand for an evening of food, games, and community.
Whether you’re a new student, returning student, or young adult looking to get connected, this is a great opportunity to meet people and build relationships at the start of the semester. We’ll have plenty of food, yard games, and fun before heading into the stadium to cheer on the Lions together.
