Hope City is a church for the unchurched. You don’t have to have it all together — come as you are. When you arrive, stop by our New Here, Stop Here table in the middle of our lobby and a smiling face will be there to welcome you. Our team will be ready to answer questions you may have, help get you connected and even send you home with a gift!
WHAT TO EXPECT ON A SUNDAY
Arriving + Parking — Our parking team is there to help people find parking spots and direct traffic in the parking lot.
New Here? Stop Here! — Our First Time Guest volunteers are there before and after the gatherings to welcome you, answer any questions you may have, and give you a small gift as our way of saying thanks for joining us!
City Kids — If you have kids from newborn through 4th grade, stop by the City Kids First Time Check-In table in the lobby! Our team will help get your little ones checked in and ready for a fun, safe, and engaging experience.
Students — Our Middle School students (5th–8th grade) meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30pm and 11:15pm, and our High School students (9th–12th grade) gather on Sunday evenings at 5:00pm
Coffee + Breakfast — Our cafe is a popular spot on Sunday’s serving FREE coffee, select food options and other items before and after your worship gathering.
BEFORE THE GATHERING
Worship + Teaching — Each gathering starts with worship music and moves into teaching that’s relevant, encouraging, and inspiring.
Communion — We have communion available each week during our Time of Prayer, right after the message.
Prayer Room — Our prayer room is open after the message to anyone who needs prayer or just someone to talk to.

At Hope City, you’ll experience a casual, friendly environment with people just like you. Our campus is conveniently located just off I-249 and 32nd Street in Joplin, creating an easy place to gather and connect. We offer a fun, engaging atmosphere where the whole family can feel welcome and enjoy a meaningful experience together.
